Welcome Midwest Sales Manager, Dave Lundquist
David Lundquist was named Midwest Sales Manager for Virtus Nutrition, a California based feed ingredient company, specializing in fatty acid nutrition for dairy cows. Virtus Nutrition offers a robust line-up of rumen-protected fatty acid products, including EnerGII, EnerG-3, Strata and Prequel.
“We are very excited to welcome Dave Lundquist to the Virtus team,” explains Douglas Waterman, Eastern Technical Sales Director for Virtus Nutrition. “Dave has a tremendous amount of experience in the commercial feed and retail sales industry. He has been successful in providing a leadership position for key specialty products in his market and has created value-added sales strategies for feed manufacturers. Dave will be a terrific addition to our team and presence in the Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota markets.”
Dave Lundquist just recently began his role with Virtus Nutrition in the beginning of July, working with nutritionists, feed companies and dairies across the Midwest region. Lundquist, who has been working in dairy feed sales and nutrition industry for 33 years, brings a strong educational background with him to Virtus with a B.S. degree from University of Minnesota in Animal Science with a Ruminant Nutrition emphasis.
“I am excited about joining the Virtus Nutrition team,” shared Lundquist. “The ability to provide value-added omega fatty acid nutrition to dairy producers that provides a high return on investment is what motivates me.”
Previously, Dave has worked in the dairy nutrition industry as a nutritionist and consultant, providing dairy rations and records analysis. Along with his strong work background, Lundquist enjoys hunting, gardening, and playing golf.
